GREENWOOD, PA – In a dual meet on Wednesday afternoon, the Greenwood Wildcats showcased their depth across both the boys' and girls' divisions, securing a home-sweep against the visiting Millersburg Indians. Despite the team losses, Millersburg found plenty of silver linings with several dominant individual performances in the field and on the track.

The Greenwood boys secured a commanding 100–37 victory, while the girls’ side saw a tighter contest, with the Wildcats edging out the Indians 83–65.

Rothermel Rises for the Millersburg Girls

The story of the day for the Millersburg girls was undoubtedly Kate Rothermel, who put on a clinic in the jumping pits. Rothermel became a triple-event winner, sweeping the Long Jump (14'3.5"), High Jump (4'8"), and Triple Jump (32'4"). Her 15-point individual haul kept Millersburg within striking distance for much of the meet.

The Millersburg throwers also made their presence felt. Reagan Wentzel claimed 1st in the Shot Put with a toss of 33'4", while Jaci Henninger dominated the Discus with a throw of 114'11". Jada Dillard rounded out a strong showing for the field crew by winning the Javelin (100'10").

On the track, Drue Bailey brought home a victory in the 400M (1:13.0), and Audrina Hoover showed her versatility by winning the 110M Hurdles (19.0) and placing 2nd in the 300M Hurdles.

Lohr Leads the Charge for Millersburg Boys

On the boys' side, Millersburg’s Kaeden Lohr proved to be the fastest athlete on the track. Lohr swept the premier sprint events, taking gold in both the 100M Dash (11.4) and the 200M Dash (24.6).

The Indians also found success in the hurdles and distance events. Tavin Yates turned in a sharp performance in the 300M Hurdles to take 1st place with a time of 43.8. In the 3200M run, Gabe Matter outlasted the field to take the top spot in 11:42, adding to an earlier 2nd place finish in the 1600M.

In the field, the Millersburg boys saw strong silver-medal performances from Carson Rummel (Shot Put), Grady Stewart (Discus), and Alphonso Williams (Triple Jump).
